That's precisely why you have to be very wary of these third-party warranties and their small print. The leaking struts are quite probably a poor/faulty design because they leak even on low mileage cars, yet, to a warranty company, it's just another 'wear and tear' get-out clause.

Sounds like I am with the wrong warranty company.

I claimed through Warranty Direct (Pinnacle Insurance) with its cliam limit "up to the value of the car" for a(nother) broken headlamp motor.

Citroen Slough replaced it but it took the best part of 7 weeks to get the whole thing processed and my £1,150 returned.

The policy cost me £499 (after me haggling them down from the innitial £629) and I gues it's paid for itself, despite the long-winded claim and reimbursement process.
