My instrument display has now been to to separate auto electronic organisations and both have said that it is beyond repair. So, I need a replacement. Is anyone out there aware of any spares available?

There are specialists that can restore the powersupply (the most usual problem) Have you seen yourself that it is burned and looks beyond repair ?

The last specialist that looked at it said that it required quite a few chips that he could no longer source. From what he said the original specialist made a bit of a mess of it which didn't help. At the moment I believe I have found a replacement for a reasonable price and will continue to pursue that one before opening up the original.

Havn't been on this site for a while but have previously posted on this thread.

After several attempts to repair my speedo cluster I purchased a new cluster at a ridiculous cost of around £800. I think I am going to scrap my car soon so this will be for sale. Its in the car but I parked it up after about 1K more miles. The car (and speedo) is at 130k miles.

I also have many other new parts but have to finally convince myself that my C6 journey is ended

I understand your dilemma. After having 4 C6's I eventually ended my journey. I still look and think 'what if/how about' but have so far resisted.... but who knows, if the right one came along

I managed to find a new cluster at a reasonable price and so far it seems to be working. But, that was only for a 10 mile round trip. I need to sort out an MoT before I can take it for a sensible run.
