Well Gent's I'm hunting a new car, the 3rd party insurer has written the car off, as I expected so I have the hire car until next weekend.

Not unexpected outcome, though a real shame.

Lets hope the settlement figure is acceptable.

Well, It is with great sadness, I can now confirm the the C6 has indeed been written off

There is a possibility she will live again, but I need to ask a couple of questions from the 3rd Party insurer (some captain of boats or something like that  ) and then take it from there.

I can also say that I have had nothing but solid advise from everybody, and for that I thank you all

In the mean time I'm hunting for another C6, going to see one next week in Blue with a cream interior

I've decided after a great deal of heartache to walk away with the settlement from the 3rd party, I'm growing sick and tired of trying to get some sense from the 3rd party insurer, they have written the car off, but are unable to say what cateogry (C or D) as they have yet to get the engineers report. to put it bluntly, it's a complete UP!!

On the upside, I'm down in London tomorrow and have made arrangements to go and see a 2007 Exclusive.

That's my favourite colour combo.

Haha, I like the way you say gentlemen, referring to the lack of female participation!

Also I'm pretty sure I've seen her around in London...

And finally, LoungePack or no?

So, you've come over to the light side? I'm sure it was just a few weeks ago we were talking about the impractical cream interior. I'm glad to see you've changed your mind. That combination looks great. Congratulations!

Ah ObiWan, oh hang on a minute, that was the dark side :$

To be honest Steve it was a compromise with SWMBO, and actually I pleasantly surprised, Taking it for a test drive around Ealing at 5:30 in the evening, and to be truthful, felt like coming home. It's essentially the same as mine but with the later RT* (I didn't check 4 or 5) but it does have the jukebox, so I may well be approaching a certain ICE expert, that I met once or twice (yes, that would be you).

Gemtlemen, I thank you for all your comments, they are much appreicated.
