Hi, I had a most annoying rattle, almost a buzz, coming from the dash. Unless it was on a billard table smooth surface, it was there just like a fly. Anyhow, son reached up behind the rear vision mirror and squeezed the plastic trim, a snap, and then buzz gone. Great! |

Yup same happened to me. Shows how difficult it is to detect where such noises come from!!

You must have quick reactions to catch a buzzing fly like that

The other day I was cruising along the motorway and being super picky I could hear a slight rattle somewhere. I spent ages trying to fond it, and guess what it was? The movement in my automatic watch!! I could hear the rotor spinning... |

You must have a watch with Valjoux 7750 movement then - can't think of many other movement rotors that would be that audible... Not really wanting to start a debate about fine watch movements...

It's a Longines Legend Diver, so it's an ETA of some sort. On reflection I think it could be the bearings in the internal crown making a similar sound rather than the rotor.

Gobxoy wrote ... Who wears a wrist clock these days? Quite a few. Probably people who also have a turntable, maybe a valve amp too, and regularly photograph with film. Oh, and they probably have unusual taste in cars too. |

mine buzzes annoyingly around the centre screen. The plastic around that must be put together with blu-tack as it buzzes pretty bad. I have to push it until it stops. A better solution is to blast Springsteen out as that seem to drown out the buzzing!
