I understand that X7 is closer to C6 than series 1 C5 in terms of its ride. I've not driven one but hope to do so next month when I meet an owner of 3.0 HDi. (I'm more interested in the comparison between 3.0 HDi & 2.7 HDi, to be honest) I standby my comparison between series 1 C5 and C6 however as I've owned each back to back. Actually I had an overlapping period of ownership of both cars about 6 months, so I think I am well positioned to judge them (at least in terms of the road conditions and the types of driving - 80% motorway & 20% around the town) |

cruiserphil wrote ... Hello bijs, It sounds like you could be in the wrong menu for height adjust. Hello altogether, Does anyone know what the "variable damping setting" steps in the Lexia are for? Is it possible to modify the base/default damping with this setting? And if yes, how? Will increasing the number of steps stiffen or soften the damping? Many thanks for the help -Fabian |
