Hi. My car is stuck in park. I am only able to release it by poking a screwdriver into the right hand side of the gear lever. I have tried testing the function in Lexia (I can hear a small click but I am unsure if it is the right amount of click). Can the source of the problem be a relay? (And where is the relay located?) Or can it be something with the brake pedal? Any advice would be appreciated. |

This is where the relay sits. When it triggers, it makes a noticeable click and pulls the white plastic lock downwards (this is what you are pressing to manually unlock). Are you able to move the gear shift out of P when using Lexia to unlock? If not, it sounds like either the relay or some electrical issue. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
