Hello all - can an old/weak battery have any tangible effect on ride quality? I ask because recently the car has become very harsh on potholes, broken surfaces etc. it’s also not as composed at high speeds and over speed bumps. I had the spheres recharged last year, so I would imagine that they are still good, and the ride height appears normal. This first became apparent after I had to jump start the car a few weeks ago due to a dead battery, but it has since held charge and everything else appears to work fine. It’s a big Bosch battery and I believe was fitted about 5 years ago. Thanks |

Thanks Well over the years we have learn't that it doesn't take much to cause what appear to be unrelated issues on a C6. Have you checked the battery is the correct one as most online sites show one with a smaller capacity than the car actually needs? Given it's 5 years old, it would seem sensible to consider replacing it. Have a look at this: - Click Here - |

Thanks Dave, I shall investigate. I’ve heard good things about the Exide batteries and they are cheaper than the Bosch ones. | ||
