Good evening,

I have encountered a strange error with one of my C6s. When changing the setting in the RT5 from MPH to KPH (for driving abroad), nothing happens. Normally it will instantly change on the cluster.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Lee

I had that happen once at Folkstone when going to France. I can't remember finding out what caused it or resolving it, and as I didn't go abroad that much, just lived with it....

The old Traction had a KPH speedo which 'waved about' a bit, so was fun in the UK so relied on the TomTom if any distance away from home, but could never break the motorway limit anyway

For everyone else, here is a 'rough' comparison if outside the UK within +/- 1 mph

Motorways:

130 kph = 80 mph
110 kph = 60 mph (in the rain)

D Roads

60 kph = 37 mph
50 kph = 31 mph
30 kph = 18 mph

Hello,

I had to use diagbox today to investigate a fault with climate control. Unfortunately one side is reading - 30 degrees so I think I have the dreaded stuck flaps.

But whilst in diagbox, I decided to check the bsi configuration and in the multifunction screen section, in the past someone had changed the setting for units from the default 'network information' to mph. Changing this back now allows the screen to change between mph and kph as desired.

Thanks

Lee

That's interesting and should help others who had similar issues being unable to switch between KPH & MPH
