After warming up (a journey of 30mins), I'm getting an irregular ticking noise, like a switch clicking. Quite audible. It's coming from front right corner of the engine bay (3.0i LPG). The sound is erratic and does not seem to increase under throttle. After cooling down, 8hrs later, it is absent. It does not react to AC coming on or going off, or to heating ventilation. Any ideas? |

So a 3.0 Petrol with an LPG conversion? Not many of those around, so I'm going to give you the best 'guess' at where to look. On the HDi's there is a 'charcoal cannister valve' on the fuel return side and a quick look at the 3.0 Petrol fuel supply shows a 'Fuel Pulsation Buffer' around the same location, part { 6 } on the diagram. Probably behind the offside front wheel arch liner so unless anyone else has a better idea, I would have a look there |

There are very few active members with petrol engines here probably. I am one of them, but haven't encounter anything like you described. If you have a Facebook account, I would suggest asking from ES9/L7X (PSA/Renault V6) owners and fans group - Click Here - |
