I need the part number for the CORRECT upper radiator hose for my 2006 2.7L HDI . I have looked AND looked but I have been unable to find a C6 upper radiator hose that looks like mine. I cannot locate the part number on this site either. Your assistance is greatly appreciated . |

Thank you for posting 2.7 HDi Radiator Hose Part numbers to Technical Documents. The hose I want is 1343HK. This hose on my car has a small leak where it connects to the radiator : there is a "NUB" (square raised area) at the radiator end of the hose (hidden from view on the bottom side of the hose end) which I believe is for the original factory hose clamp to go around ? A "single ear" (European type) hose clamp is used on my car and this appears to not properly seal the end of the hose onto the radiator as it does not have the "cutout" for the "NUB". Has anyone experienced this problem? What is the best remedy? |

However, I have had some success using end cut pliers like these - Click Here - to tighten the clamp. Alternatively, remove the factory clamp and fit a standard hose clamp of an appropriate size. To do so you'll need to cut the piece of rubber on the bottom of the pipe that the factory clamp passes through. |
