I HAVE ATTACHED A SCREENSHOT OF MY MULTIFUNCTION CONTROLs for the Multifunction Display.
My C6 is a 2006. I cannot find an actual owner's manual for that year of C6.
The attached picture is from the C6owners downloads :but there seems to be no explanation for "C" button.

Below the Menu button, there is "C" button .
WHAT does the "C" button do ?

Button ‘C’ is basically the confirmation button to accept whatever option is displayed on the screen.
Like ‘enter’ on a computer keyboard.

The main difference between the early handbook and the 2007 one is the radio/sat nav unit which went from maps on a 'CD' to built in hard drive RT3 > RT4 IIRC

Nothing else changed and the unit can be upgraded as covered in this thread: - Click Here -

The button below the menu button (labelled "C" on the control itself, but not annotated in the car handbook), is basically a backspace button for data entry in the address book/phone directory. Refer to Page 5 of the Navidrive manual, - Click Here - where it is annotated as "30":

"30 Deletion of the last character entered (short press) or of the entire line (long press)."

Good luck with the car,

Kevin
