Its been a long time since I've posted here. So tonight while driving long distance on the M6, the cruise control decided to be inoperable, but limiter worked perfectly. So its not issues with buttons.. And the brake light works as expected.. And theres no error messages or warning lights.. At a complete loss how cruise and limiter differ given they operate in the same way with the throttle/buttons/speed-sensing/engine management. It can't possibly be the brake light switch, can it? Unrelated: Some yanked on my spoiler and now it doesn't retract straight. |

1. Maybe contact problem with the switch that chooses limiter or cruise control? Often a cable stretch/contact problem. 2. Spoiler has some self-adjusting abilities, lubrication (both CRC and grease spray) may trigger it. |

Happy New Year, Why/how was your spoiler still up or was the yanker able to run behind your C6 at over 120kph?! Good luck with correcting your problems... Cheers Fraser |

Hello Graeyscale, Would still check the brake switch for starters. The switch cancels cruise control but has no function on the limiter. Also a different contact pair on the switch operates the brake lights. Best regards, Phil C. |
