1. Remove the boot liner, there are 9 push clips 2 x T25 Torx screws in the handle and 5 push in plastic clips. 2. Disconnect the power supply to the spoiler motor, then using a 4mm Allan Key, manually deploy the spoiler. ![]() 3. Remove the motor cover plate, 4 x T30 Torx screw (plastic). ![]() 4. Remove the 3 x 8mm nuts holding the motor in place and remove the motor. ![]() 5. Prise the 2 x cable clips and cable out and undo the 2 x T20 screws holding motor mounting plate. 6. Remove the spoiler cover, this held in place with 4 x T20 Torx screws. ![]() 7. Remove the 2 x T20 screws in the drains and gently move them out of the way. I decided to run a piece if wire through these at the same time to make sure they were clear. ![]() 8. Next job is to release the cable stops, these are 3 x T20 Torx screws at each side of the carriage. ![]() 9. Remove the 12 x 10mm nuts holding the spoiler carriage in place. 10. Finally, remove the plastic clips holding the spoiler carriage and remove it. ![]() Refitting is just as simple as reversing the process. From start to finish it takes a couple of hours. and this is what I have used. ![]() |
