The pillar trims on my "New to me" C6 can only be described as disgusting so I'm looking to have them retrimmed. I've no idea how the pillars are so filthy as the rest of the interior isn't bad. Old ones: ![]() I took them to the local vehicle trimmer this morning who checked the material against his samples. The below square is the closest he has. ![]() As a colour match, it's not a million miles out but I don't like the textured fabric. Has anybody else ever retrimmed their pillar trims and know of a better suited material by any chance? Thanks! David. |

It looks like a 'brushed' nylon finish David, something like this? - Click Here -

That seems to be the right colour but to me that looks more like roller blind material rather then the soft foam backed stuff on the pillars. I’ll sit down later today and see if I can find a decent car trim type catalogue or something. If we can find the right stuff then it’s a damn site cheaper for everyone then replacing those scruffy B pillars from Citroen. David. |

They also do the foam backed material David so it's worth getting in touch after the Christmas break but whatever you find let us know as my drivers 'B' pillar needs recovering |

MikkelCPH wrote ... I think it is still possible to get the original ones from Citroen in France! It is indeed, however, like Shaun says, the price is very high. If I can find the right material, I can have all of mine recovered for £120. It's just a case of finding the material. At that price, it's 1/5th of the price of just a B-Pillar trim from Citroen. David. |

That looks great! I found these as well.![]() ![]() They're supposed to be sending a beige sample for me to compare it to. Yours looks very similar though! David. |

Looking online at various options I see that the 'foam backing' varies between suppliers so material comes in 1.5mm, 2mm and 3mm and the thicker 2 & 3 mm may well not look right on the car never mind the colour so it's going to be interesting to see what you end up with.

That's one of the things that's worrying me, Dave. I rang Woolies this morning, she says the stuff they have is quite thin so they're going to send me a sample to have a look at and match to the car. Fingers crossed! David. |

Slight tangent. How easy/or not are these trim pieces to remove?

The front A pillars are easy, they just pull out. The B pillars you need to undo the seatbelt from the seat, there's a screw at the top under the "Airbag badge" and you need to remove the lower half of the panel as there's 2 torx screws hidden there too. The C pillars you need to tip the back seats forward, then remove the trim finisher on each side. There are 2 10mm nuts to remove to loosen the lower half of the trim and then you can remove the top half after you've turned the fixing screw 90 degrees. The D pillars you need to remove the torx screw under the "Airbag" badge again and they pull off. They're fiddly and awkward but perfectly doable without to much hassle. |

They were incredibly helpful and sent me a sample in the post. It arrived this morning and I'm pleased to confirm that it is pretty much an exact match! Here it is held up to the C6 D pillar and headlining. ![]() ![]() |
