Correct oil standard ?

 The car was introduced with the recommendation of a PSA standard 71 2290 C2 oil 5-30. But from 2016 there is a new standard: PSA 71 2312 C2 and 0-30 (for Euro 6 engines). My garage has started to use this new thinner oil in my C6. Is this OK or should I insist on the old standard or bring my own oil (Mobil 1 5-30 C2).

I now see that TOTAL recommend the new Quartz Ineo First 0W-30 in addition to the old original

 I would NOT recommend 0W30, your C6 is Euro 5, not Euro 6. Stick with 5W30, low SAPS oil. (I am not familiar with Mobil 1 5W30, but if it is C2 AND Low SAPS it should be fine.
