Since last week I had problems starting my C6 2.7HDi (2006). Today she definitely refused to start but the starter was turning happily. Connected Lexia and found error F4BA in the BSI section which points to an immobilizer issue. Took out the other key and she started fine.. Wonder why the key was faulty, tried it again and it worked. Decided to switch the keys on the key-chain since I suspected an intermittent faulty key but then the car did not start again with the spare key on the key-chain. Found out that since last week I have my wife's car key on my key-chain, a VW crossfox (not my choice . When I take that the VW key of the key-chain the C6 starts fine!

Your C6 doesn't like the VW on its territory.
