Yes, I did a thorough search and looked at all the technical documents, but couldn't find any useful info on how to remove the gear leaver surround woodpiece. Are you supposed to just pry it away? Where are you supposed to begin pulling - front/reare/side, to avoid doing any damage to it? Also, if you did this particular fix, how did you fix the buttons in place? Thanks! |

I seem to recall that it's just clipped in place, but the clips are pretty secure. Start by removing the trinket box first -- screw(s) under the armrest, I'm fairly certain, then lift it forward -- then follow your instinct with the gearbox selector surround. | ||

I'm about to do it, but did you mean the armrest box or the ashtray box? How do you remove the gear leaver itself? | ||
