Am I doing something wrong: Every time I ajust the clock, the orientatation of the map, preset radio stations and other likely ajustments it only lasts until I stop the car. When I start again all my ajustments are forgotten and everything is what they were before. Do I forget to activate a sort of 'save' function? My car is a C6 Exclusive V6 2008 |

No, it should save...... I wonder if there could be a blown fuse, which feeds the perminent live to the memory?

I agree with ; does it completely lose the time & date, showing the clock display flashing when you turn the key on again? Check the 15A (blue) fuse, F11, in the glovebox BSI - Click Here - |

The fuse is intact. And the system does not loose the adjustments completely. It more seems that it goes back to the adjustments made by the former owner: The clock is one hour ahead and in 12 hour mode (I prefer 24 hour mode) and there is preset some Dutch radiostations (I bought the car in the Netherlands). The irritating traffic lady also keeps coming back even I have tried to "kill" her several times But the adresses I have stored in the GPS are remembered. I tried to turn on the ignition and make som changes, turn it off and after a few seconds turn it on again. Then all my changes were gone. Could it be a software issue? I'm considering whether I can reinstall the software? All other electric things seems to work, and I love driving it |

If you change the language settings with the CD it looses all preferences. At least it did with my C6 when I changed from French to Dutch (my car is from 2006 with Rt3). So maybe switch the language to another and afterwards switch it to Danish again?

I think the car is set for the Netherlands, and it needs reseting to Denmark, I can have a look tomorrow, but I think you can only reset the country through Lexia

is it not something to do with the Memory Function for the seats? What happens if you set it up as you like it, time/date whatever else and program it in using the memory function on the door? Or am I barking up the wrong tree |

I'm going to double check today, you can set the language from the head unit but not the country, I'm 99% certain you need Lexia to do that.

Thanks for your input. I have a friend with a Lexia and I will try to have him look into it next week and hopefully fix it. I'll keep you posted |

Hi it's a faulty RT unit, nothing to do with Lexia or any other settings. It's a common fault on these units. Is it RT3 or RT4 ? |

It is a RT3. And I have not tried to fix it with Lexia yet. If it's a common fault do I then have to mount a complete new system? |

You can either replace the headunit or get it repaired, i can repair it for you if you send it to me, i am based in Spain, repair price will be reasonable. |

I were planing to install a Parrot to connect my iPhone to the system. So now I wonder if I instead of reparing my RT3 and install Parrot should go all in and instead replace the headunit with a RT5. Will that be possible? I have read nearly all the treads but I am a little confused |
