Hi all, when I initially push on the brake pedal, I get a faint squeak (audible with the radio off). I suspect the torque tube (driver side transfer across to passenger side brake booster and master cylinder) is acting as an amplifier for any stiction in the torque tube bearings - does anyone have this squeak and how was it cured? Mine also squeaks, I simply ignore it. All Luxury saloon cars have a squeaky pedal......Did you not know this ? |

Mine does also. A friend who was driving me in my C6 pointed it out to me. I was eating! Normally I wouldn't have noticed as I enjoy my wonderful sound system or are talking. Mind you my family also accuse me of being deaf. |

Mine also does this I thought it was a bleep indicating I had pushed the brake pedal. Norman |
