 Hi everyone I'm Simon.I have just joined the C6 owners club.I have a passion for rare and unusual French cars.I currently own a Renault Avantime and I'm looking to add a Citroen C6 to compliment it. Any assistance that can be offered by current C6 owners club members would be very gratefully received.

 Hey Simon, if you're brave enough to have an Avantime, you're certainly ready for a 6!! I just got mine a week ago and love it already, it's like nothing I've driven before and I have an XM & a CX, but it's arguably one of the best Citroen's ever made - good luck

PS - almost considered an Avantime once, my specialist Citroen garage had one for sale, but couldn't believe the rear leg room, very odd!!

I have owned my Avantime for almost 3 years. I have enjoyed every minute of it. It never fails to draw attention wherever I go. Its mainly used as a weekend and show car now. I love unusual, quirky and rare cars hence my interest in the C6 which I hope to obtain an example of soon.

The Avantime interior is not as spacious as the external dimensions would lead some to believe. The rear seats are in theatre style which means the floor is higher at the back. This results in nowhere to put your feet under the front seats which results in the rear seat passengers feeling as if they have their knees around their ears. Despite this I love car.

 I'm now a C6 owner!!! On Thursday 26th February I purchased an Iron Grey 2.7 Exclusive. Registration number KH56 OCX. Does anyone in the club have any info on my car? I have also bought a 1/18 scale model and a C6 sales brochure and spec list, so now I really feel like I belong in the C6 club.
