I'd love to Dave and I can just about afford it, but I'm out of room, I've already had a big bust up with my neighbour . When I collect her tomorrow, I'll have the XM, the new C6 and my Scooby Outback, all this while my CX Safari edges closer to completion, although I'm not holding my breath!! I'm gonna try and clean out my other garage today, there's not that much in there, and I can put my XM away whilst I decide what to do. I do love the X, she is my 17th after all, but if the C6 goes well and when the CX comes back, I'll have modern & classic, the XM will just lose it's place; with my Outback for no nonsense stuff, bad weather & moving rubbish!! I've always wanted to have a DS, SM, CX, XM & C6, and I would be over half way there with this purchase tomorrow, but I'm not quite lord of the manor yet, with endless stables converted into lovely heated garages..... where's that lotto ticket Cheers JJ |

Hi G No one has ever asked me that I don't think I could list all of them now, bad memory, but I've just kept a running total in my head. All unplanned, but it's got that high due to me chopping & changing, I seem to get bored easily, although in my old age (not really), I'm calming down a bit, this XM has been with me about 18 months, that's long for me. Simply put, I've pretty much had all models S1 & S2, except the 2.1TD, too slow . Mainly V6's/ 24's, and the S1 manual 24v which was actually a press car, you see it old mag reviews H564 GDP. Currently with M4 XXM, Wreg 24v 65k, Silver, could it be my last????????????? Just read the C6 manual online last night, I'm ready for you buttons, do your worst Cheers JJ |

Your XM is identical to mine I've got a 2000 V6 Exclusive in Quartz Silver that's covered 52k It's not a car that I ever intend to part with. Main reason being it's one I'd never be able to replace if I ever hankered after another one! Mine only gets summer use so has never seen salt and rarely even sees the rain Here's a picture of it that was taken at Wetherby a couple of years ago: David. |

Funny Bill I haven't been able to drive my CX in over a year now, last time I was there she had no roof, which is a lot of open air on a Safari!! Can't wait for her to be done, it's gonna be beyond agony for my bank account though, I'm throwing everything I can at her JJ |

David H - I'd love to treat my XM like that, but I like to drive her just when I like, infact, unless I really need to drive my Subaru, I prefer the XM, much more relaxing, rain or shine! I will probably treat my CX restoration like that though. I know what you mean about not being able to buy another one, but every time I've sold one, another one's always come up at some point, that's how I got to 17 JJ |
