Hi Jim, Sorry your selling the Six but good luck with the sale. Let me know re. the flap when you can. Now that you have some serious experience of this job it would be great if you could draw up a template for the best cutout size if you have the time. ATB Frank |

Hi Cisco, Sorry for the delay in getting back to you ... I've been busy getting laid-off! I did end up using my spare passenger side flap but can do a repair to the broken one I took out if you're wish to go that route. Alternatively, you could go to the same place I did (Pug 407) as that was a fairly painless exercise to get new flaps sent north north. The passenger side looked like it was going to be a nightmare due to extra (cooling?) pipes running alongside the heater box. However on closer inspection it was easy to get to the part I needed (higher-up above the pipes) and the whole 'cut - replace old for new - glue back' job took about an hour in total! Let me know if you need pictures & script from that exercise. Cheers, Jim |

Hi Guys, Replaced the passenger side paddle today following Jim's excellent tutorial and have included a photo of the completed repair. The dots are tippex showing the cut line. I also had an issue with controlling the ac temperature separately by the passenger control and was going to replace the humidity sensor as Diagbox was telling me it was faulty, gave it a brief shake and it's cooking on gas again |
