My car has a fun new habit- it has started under-reporting the fuel level by about 3 blobs. It's been doing it occasionally for a few months but is now more often than not. It seems to be about the same amount each time- it used to change back to normal after turning the ignition off and on, but now seems to nee fuel to be added. Sometimes it reports a full tank as 3 blobs under, sometimes it just drops them in the middle somewhere. Anybody else had this? Any thoughts? My first guess is a sticking fuel sender. Could it be a computer thing? |

I finally got my Lexia working again, and have a string of related faults: F17C Gross fuel level information fault F17D Fuel level information fault C403 Fuel gauge signal fault : Open circuit So I guess it's a sender thing. I shall investigate! |

Kia ora Jodyone, (if you are still there) My C6 has developed the same issue with the fuel gauge. Did you or anyone else on the site discover what causes this issue. Best wishes Kiwiman |

This happened to my C6 around the 70K mile mark. At first it was an occasional issue, then became more consistent over about 5 months. Replacing the sender cured it. |
