boot lid locked & CAN not open please help

silly me battery died and wanted to replace it so took battery off and boot shut is there any way i can open it please help asap

 Depends on whether you got Lounge Pack or not. Without, you can enter your boot via the back seats. There is an emergency lever near the the boot lid lock. Somewhere, I have to add because I never looked or had to use it. Info is from the German forum. They say you need a special tool (which might be a screw driver) so perhaps calling your garage might be a useful option.

P.S. what I'd probably do is use the new battery with jump leads connected to the terminals under the hood and press the "open boot lid" button.

 Another case of RTFM I was too lazy to go down to my car.
The spare battery method should work in case of Lounge Pack.
