Hi I think this has already been covered, and I have another thread about fitting a review camera? Can this be increased via the Lexia, I have mine booked in for tommorrow for winter tyres and swtich off the TPMS and change to 17" wheels. So While I am at it is this a LEXIA or Mira Scripts only change????? OBviously I am fully aware that the olny legal use would be rearview whilst on the move which is what I am after plus reversing. Quick answer appriciated owing to being booked in. |

Hi It you are talking about disabling the 5mph video speed limit, this can only be done with Mirascript, not with Lexia |

m3mpower, whats the easiest way to do that is there a tutorial? BTW my car has an RT5 with 8.30 software. I haven't found much out about the differences to 8.20? I suppose it would be a good idea to back up the system first? |

No need to back up the system if you have a set of 8.3 discs (you can get it online anyway) Mirascriprts is here: - Click Here - Unzip it and in the Docs Directory there is a pdf with descriptions of all the scripts and what they are for Very easy to use, copy to a CD or USB stick (if USB is already enabled) and insert it, choose the scrip to run |

Did you get it sorted in the end? m3mpower, No not sorted yet, the camera works save can't use above 5mph. The software 8.30 doen't appear to be available, even fron my Citroën dealer. I have a interface unit from navlink which doen't work, it cuts out the video , but doesn't put the video back in through their input, and they are talking with the makers? Either way it would be good to raise the video imput as it wil only be used for the rear veiw camera. Any help much appreciated |

Hi No problem, i can help you with that. You need to connect a USB cable to your RT5. Then use a formatted ( fat32 ) USB stick, connect it to your PC, download Mirascript - Click Here - and extract the files onto the USB stick. Open the CMD folder in the USB and delete all command script except "RTxSET". Switch on the RT5 and connect the USB stick. You will see on the display the following: View / modify general section? answer yes video speed limit, set to 225? answer yes. Answer no to all other questions. Answer yes to reboot. Job done ! |

It's ok, ignore that message, it's basically telling you it's not recognising the MP3 files... Leave it a few more seconds and you should see the options I mentioned previously |
