cruise control not working any ideas?

 Hi Im new to this forum and have just bought a c6 exclusive 3 ltr petrol in storm grey 06 plate with fsh and in great condition with 48 k on the clock.only thing wrong is cruise control isnt working...does anyone know where parts if any can be sourced...and typical costs any thoughts would be appreciated

 It all depends on what the problem is, from a faulty brake pedal switch to the cruise control switch on the steering wheel.

You need the car hooked up to Lexia/Proxia to read the error code log via the OBII port as a starting point.

Parts, your limited to a Citroen dealer for bit's like that.

 1. Loosen steering wheel
2. Move wheel to the extremes of its adjustability, up, down, in out, each corner
3. Lock into place
4. Cruise control should now work!

It's always worked for me, except one for about a week, then it worked again. I think there's something not creating good contact which is Ok if you jiggle it. Technical term.

Just wanted to thank you for the advice re cruise control.got in the car ..did exactly as you said....and hey presto ....cruise control up and running ....over the moon thanks again....

Give the shroud in front of the steering wheel a good bang maybe not a permanent fix but if the problem recurs just give it another bang
