I parked the car this morning on an icy road. I parked it tight against the snow bank in the photos and used the turned wheel to tell me when the car had touched the bank.

I left it in Park, no handbrake in the cold, and came back to find it had moved down the slight hill all by itself. Now it could have been the victim of French nudge-parking but with all the salt on it you would easily see a mark and there isn't one. Luckily it stopped just before clobbering the Golf in front. The arrows show how far she moved on her own.

(It reversed back on the ice without a problem).

Interesting one. I just changed back to summer tyres yesterday as well
