I've just bought a 2.7 V6 Lignage in Black. The car is great apart from a couple of minor annoyances. Firstly the outside temperature reading is too low so it throws up the 'danger black ice' message all the time. If I rub the sensor on the wing mirror the temp reading rises so I guess this is where the problem is - can these be reset/repaired or am I into a new Mirror housing? Secondly the occupancy sensors are faulty as it keeps telling me someone is sat in the back and/or passenger seats when they are unoccupied. Any help with the above issues would be much appreciated. You should be able to change the sensor in the mirror Seat Belt warnings, well there is a microswitch in the stalk fixed to the body. These stick or fail and usually means changing the stalk, or, just fasten the offending belt and the message will go away. BTW it always says that for a couple of minutes when you turn on the ignition whilst it's going through the startup test routine. It's only a problem if it does't go away BTW you may see Trainman (Steve) around Preston in his C6 |

Paul, Welcome, give me a shout if you get really stuck, I'm only up the road...... I saw a black C6 the other day with a Cream interior in Penwortham, could it have been you? |
