folding mirrors

 Here is an tip to cancel the auto folding function of the mirrors. Good when/if they risk to get stuck by ice.

1.withe car idling fold the mirrors with the button on the armrest

2.turn of the car

3. go out and unfold the mirrors by hand.

4. now they stays unfolded until you touch any button that has to do with the mirrors.

 I just put mine in the heated garage - avoids the windows getting frozen shut, too...

I think you can disable the mirror folding from the head unit in the vehicle parameters. I THINK. I might be wrong though.

 No the only thing you can configure under vehicle parameters is light settings

I also have min in an warm garage during th night but keep i parked outside my job at daytime.
In the garage i don't even lock the car.

 It's under vehicle access, isn't it? Mine's sitting indoors whilst I give it a good cleanup and polish (taking the wheels off to clean behind and wax the whole wheel, that sort of thing!) and only gets used under duress in winter.

 I think I've found a bit of a trick. When you lock the car you normally click the lock button twice. I've noticed if you touble tap it very quickly the mirrors will stay out.
