Hi all, with the severe frosts last week the passenger side of the car built up a wedge of frozen snow and ice above the window seal, on the glass. Eventually this got thick enough / strong enough to defeat the window motor. Instead of just allowing the motor to run and strain, I noticed that the window switch itself would not depress. So obviously there is a motorised solenoid providing feedback at the switch: very nice design that lets you know by tactile feedback not to keep trying to open the window. Regards G |

Thankfully hasn't been as bad as that for me with the 'car cap' on, but nice to know for others. | ||
