Hi The disassembly document for the 2.7 hdi rear catalyst and turbo is a huge lie! they left out the part where the chassis has to be disassembled down to the hub so that the catalytic converter can be removed after removing the half-shaft! But I'll say it more simply! rather, take out the engine, whatever you want to do on it, because the chassis part under the engine, chassis structure and cross engine adjustment used with Peugeot are from an ALTAR SELF. I would gouge out the eyes of the design engineers. The profession tells people like this that they are not competent and are quacks! |

Update! Half shaft, catalytic converter removed! the peasants didn't even leave a chance to remove the rear turbo! anyone would try this… you better cut your veins, because at this level (and after 3 hours of swearing) it turns out that the engine has to be removed!!! That's it for the service guide... feel free to delete that file! | ||

Unfortunately, that is the official Citroën guide. They are never as straightforward as one thinks, which is why some members have created some 'tutorials' based on their own personal experiences to help others. |

If it's any help, a year ago Turbos Specialist Ltd in Farnborough removed both my turbos, cleaned them, replaced the actuators and refitted. Cost £1320 incl VAT. I thought this was reasonable for a big job. Previously turbos had been repeatedly putting car into limp mode for overboost, etc. No problems since the turbo overhaul. |
