Hi all, as a follow up to my post regarding the illumination of Sport and suspension buttons can I now ask how they are removed from the vehicle as a complete unit. I can pop the buttons off but the main body remains located in the housing & I assume that there must be a procedure but I do not want to damage any surfaces by forcing the issue. I guess it would help if I could obtain some kind of workshop manual for a C6. In the mean time I will continue to ask you clever bods in here? Thanks, Gary |

I thought I had answered that and posted a parts diagram showing that they are complete switch units and to get at them you need to remove the gear lever surround which, as far as I know, simply clips into place?

Yep they are on the monkey wood gear selector surround, "simply unclips" read "needs to be pried out" with a 1350 tool (non marring plastic pry bar) heres the link to that thread and I have updated it because I found a tool out n a washing machine that works - Click Here -
