HDI auto stalling |

Hi chaps, I'm a long time Citroen fan and owner, having owned a BX, a succession of Xantias and last week picked up my new (to me) C6. The car drives beautifully, it's a 06 plate 2.7HDI auto, only one problem so far which is a tendency to stall at tickover, very frustrating when maneuvering. It only seems to happen when warm and not always. I will be getting it in to BL autos for a diagnosis on the Lexia or similar ASAP, in the meantime has anyone had a similar problem and what was the cure? I'm assuming it to be an idle control issue but a search for idle control valves threw up a blank. Two things which may be relevant, the air intake pipe has become detached from a grommet just above the radiator, and a new valve block was fitted to the gearbox recently. Looking forward to your replies. Kind regards Paul |
