The interior fan is only blowing cold, originally this was on the driver's side only but it's now both sides. The engine fan is staying on after killing the engine. And this evening it pinged on the engine management light for the first time in ages and told me the depollution system is faulty, although it didn't cut to idle under hard acceleration. So... am I right to guess thermostat? What else could it be? It's the 2.7 HDi. |

Hmm, there could be a number of issues here. Cold from the heater sounds like heater flaps but it's unusual to both to fail in quick succession. Combined with the fan run-on my thinking is towards the coolant (water) pump not circulating the coolant correctly. What does the temp gauge say? Depollution error message is a catch all and only to be used as a prompt to head to the dealer to have your wallet emptied! We know better and now identify this as a need to get a code read to understand what is really going on. Not all causes of the depollution message result in reduced performance. |
