I got a "depollution system faulty" pop up today. Have looked around the site and seen various root-causes identified. Annoyingly the hand-book sheds little light on the issue. Couple of Qs I'm at the tail-end of an extended warranty: any thoughts on whether this would be covered? Can't see why not - but could this be considered wear and tear? I'll book it in at Citroen asap - however, can I expect any deterioration in performance during the next 100 miles or so whilst I wait for it to be seen? Could it mean the car won't start etc? Thanks |

"depollution system faulty" is a generic message covering multiple systems and even appears on petrol cars. The only way to narrow things down is by interogating the fault log with Lexia/Diagbox.

So - warning light came back on. Then went in for a Full Service at Citroen which seemed to clear the issue for good. Citroen found no warning code on the diagnostics etc.
