Removing sport mode switch and suspension switch?

 Can anybody tell me how to remove the Sport and suspension switches from the housing around the Gear selector please as I am trying to establish if they do indeed have lamps fitted for illumination.
I have managed to remove the push buttons but the actual button housing remains in place and i need to get at this to locate any lamps, if indeed there are any?

 Well they do light up on my car so there has to be some form of illumination (I have just checked again)

You will need to remove the surround over the top of the 2 switch blocks, but for both to be out you need to re check all the fuses, glovebox and engine bay.
