Ok so I have driven about 600 miles in the C6 and I noticed the other day there was a faint knocking sound. Its at low speeds on uneven roads . Any idea?

I'm curious as I also have a faint knocking sound... from the front (left more than right) and it seems to lessen if 'Sport' suspension is selected.

As this thread seems to have got lost... has anyone any ideas for Mark & myself (in my case, I certainly hope it's not suspension bushes after only 15,000mls)?

I had a knocking noise a few months ago and had it looked at by Citroen in Weston. It turned out to be a loose under tray

Well the knocking noise is a worn suspension part on the rear of the car. Even though it was supposed to be checked before I picked the car up. My driver seat is loose but they do not know why. "It might be because its the driver seat" and "they all do tha"t were both offered as reasons for not fixing the fault, i will ring Citroen on Monday.

First impressions of Citroen Service in Basingstoke 4/10. Might use Slough next time as they are close to work

Thanks for letting us know.

BTW copied your post here rather than have a new thread on the same subject

Car back . In and out in 2 hours, dropped off and picked up. car washed, greeted witrh a smile, told how lovely my car is, the guys favourite ( good taste) Drop link replaced , sound now gone . He also looked at my driver seat again. He told me that they all move slightly if you have the seat at a certain angle. I have lowered the front swab a bit and the rocking motioned seems to have gone. From a 4/10 to a 7/10 and if the seats is "fixed" 8.5/10.
