I think it's an advisory. Red dashboard warning lights will cause an MOT failure, but not the Orange/yellow ones. However, I'm open to someone with definite knowledge confirming. I don't tolerate illuminated warning lights on my cars! They get proper maintenance, scheduled and preventative, or fixed promptly should anything fail. |

They're purely an MoT testing facility, just a hundred metres from our local VOSA depot... |

And said nothing about it. But i did flag it up at all times with everybody in the center before the test. I think he was particularly impressed with my lovely new wipers and new rear tyres. Installed fresh that morning!! |

A car I know recently passed the MOT with an advisory note "EML indicating a fault". Jaguar, registration X586UOE. Maybe it's discretionary and upto the MOT tester. Any UK car's MOT history can be checked here; - Click Here - |

The Advertising Standards Authority has ruled that garages must clearly state the legal implications of DPF-removal services for drivers after it banned a Bristol-based garage advert for misleading consumers. Remapping !!!!!!!!!!!!!ETC |
