I'm going to refurb my alloys and would usually just jack a car up on 4 stands, remove the wheels and get on with it.
Is it ok to do this on a C6? In concerned about the fluid levelling system?

You need to remove the cap of the fluid reservoir before letting the wheel "hang". There are several threads about this on here.

Run the suspension up to its highest before jacking. As previously stated by JPV, unscrew the LDS reservoir cap a couple of turns.

Only raise the car by placing the jack at the approved points, and only ever place axle stands likewise. - Click Here -
