We were going 'Off Topic' over here:

So created this new thread.

C6Dave, thanks for the info. I have dismantled the mirror. The motor shown (8) is the mirror up/down left/right adjustment motor, not the folding motor. The folding motor is combined into a casting which the dealer told me was not available as a separate part.

I'd be interested if you had any other info or part numbers in your parts list which I could use!

Unfortunately that was the Citroen part list so if the motor is part of the main casting then you will need to replace that.

Whether or not you can find a used one in a breakers yard or on eBay well.............

I know there is a C6 in a breakers not far from me, I posted a link to their website - Click Here -

I've checked

The car appears to be a 'Flood Damage' write off and is being broken for parts.

The Wing Mirrors are available at £195 + Vat each so £229.12 (50% of the cost of a new one)

The direct telephone number to order them (and anything else like wheels etc. is 01695 455777

Bl**dy hell. A 2007 car being broken for parts! I quite fancy the cream interior I wonder would the mud wash off it?

Even if it could be cleaned up by a specialist, I have a sneaking feeling that the interior would cost a small fortune, even with 'flood damage'

You could call them though and ask - 01695 455777

I rang these chaps back in May wanting to buy a spare Roccostrada from them but they told me all four of them were gone. Damn, I thought, too late.

But now they are advertising them on eBay - can't be from another scraped C6 can they? Shame, they look heavily damaged. If they were less damaged I'd love to get one as a spare.

Has anyone any idea what Citroën are charging for these rims?

They sold them 1 at a time on eBay. I put a bid in for one that looked 'clean' several times and they refused it, that one looks like the worst one.

New from Citroen.... £201.99 each!

Thanks - that's not actually as bad as I feared. Especially if Hills are looking for nearly half that for a manky damaged one, £200 for a pristine new one almost becomes a bargain

I might order one for the spare.
