Hello to everyone, my name is Perica and I am from Serbia. I would be very thankfull if somebody can help me and give me some suggestions about problems with my C6. I have this car for about 4/5 months and have problems from first day.

Problems are: When i push kickdown my care brake, it is hard brakeing... Then he put my car in safe mode and have those errors:

MAF sensor not syncrohnised> P010F error code P0104
EGR P404
Speed limitator P2133 P2131
Alternator P1528

And 1 more thing MAF is both new and EGR BOTH new and about speed limitator i was change and put new pedal bcs of sensors and problem is still here

Depollution faulty

Thanks in advance

P.S. Sorry bcs of my English if it is little bad i am not so good

THe only 1 of those codes that appear in the database - Click Here - is P2133

It's looking like the 'kick down' switch that's faulty, but whether it's separate switch behind the pedal, I don't know. There is one for the brake pedal for the cruise control and 1 for the clutch pedal in a manual car.

I seriously would take a look at the alternator issue first (P1528). Power surges and dips can lead to all sorts of other problems!

I dont have any ideas i am very dissapointed in the car

If I may suggest, charge the battery first [14.2v] battery may be in a discharged state causeing goast codes, read all codes and note then clear them all.
Give the car a good spirited run and check for new stored codes and report back.

Sorry to hear of your probs, first code p1528 check the wiring and altenator for faults if all ok then check the multifunction control module.

Code p0404, check for hose leak or blockage if ok check wiring erg valve solenoid.

It looks like there's some weird multiplexing electronic failure.

1. Make sure and check that everything that was replaced was mounted correctly
2. What new battery have you fitted? - too small or too big, can result in electric/electronic bugs
3. Fix the alternator

If you don't trust Serbian service shops, the one thing that I can recommend is to come to Romania - it's fairly close to Serbia and Citroën services are decent and have good prices on both parts as well as labour. I would also recommend Italy, if money is no object

Cheerios,
Sam

What is the problem with a too large capacity in the battery. I am planning to go for the biggest recommended (100Ah) when time comes.
