Hi My car is currently at BL Autos having various bits done. It's in need of two new front suspension spheres (50bar 2.7L versions), but citroen UK are out of stock 'til next week. I live 130 miles away (but BL Autos is apparently *the* place to go), and had been due to pick it up this weekend. Does anyone know of any other suppliers of genuine spheres that might actually have some in stock ready for shipping today? (or perhaps I just risk getting spheres that have been sat on a shelf for the last 5-10 years, slowly de-pressurising) I'm really looking forward to getting it back, (although not looking forward to the bill!!) Many thanks, Alex |

The spheres available from the "Sphere Shop" aka IFHS are very good, highly recommended so try this as an alternative to the genuine Citroen items. Or send yours off for a recharge - Pleiades Regards G |

"Sphere Shop" are good as spheres are made new and date stamped, however that means circa 2 weeks delivery I'm afraid. For my DSuper they were 60 euro a pair! |

It might be worth contacting AEP, - Click Here -, they supply IFHS spheres, so may have some in stock.

Admin Dave wrote ... "Sphere Shop" are good as spheres are made new and date stamped, however that means circa 2 weeks delivery I'm afraid. For my DSuper they were 60 euro a pair! That's pretty much what BL Autos said too ('a couple of weeks'). Hopefully the Citroen ones will actually turn up Monday/Tuesday and not get delayed further. And thanks for all the replies everyone. Shame I didn't just order the Sphere Shop ones a few weeks ago. I've got a 58 plate which has (to my knowledge) never had new spheres, and at 80 euro a pair, I could have arguably just ordered a pair 'guessing' that I'd need them. But isn't hindsight a wonderful thing? Those bushes and ball point advertised a few weeks ago, would have come in handy too! Out of interest, do the Sphere Shop spheres hold their pressure as well as the OEMs? |

Saw your c6 on the ramp Alex whilst I took my C6 in to BL autos last week. I too had a long journey to see the experts. I came away ordering 2 spheres myself from the sphere shop after their diagnosis. I will be using my car until they arrive and then take it to my local Citroen specialist where he's assured me it should be a simple 10 minute job to fit them. |

I always used to get genuine spheres for my C5's at Eurocarts.com not only genuine but a lot cheaper than a Citroen dealer.
