My C6 goes into Citroen (AGAIN) on the 2nd January so that they can fleece me yet again and get the rear spoiler working. I will let you all know the outcome and what my problem was. Happy New year everybody. |

And here is the verdict: My car has been seen by Citroen Coventry and the cost of repair to get the Deflector working again is £853.00. This includes new motor, 2 new linkages and some cable, oh yes and labour charge. The original has seized apparantly! So my C6 is now up for sale if anybody is interested although you will have to repair the deflector as I aint paying out any more money. |

Thanks Dave, I did look but could not find any parts for the deflector on eBay. I did find a Blue boot lid but the deflector and workings were already removed. If you know something I don't then let me know as this is an option but I will still be selling the car fixed or not. My other option is to buy the parts NEW from Citroen and then install them myself but i would need a stripping procedure to complete this process should there be such a thing? Thanks, Gary |
