hi , I am a lifelong Citroen enthusiast starting with 2CVs which I still enjoy and then graduating to DS , CX etc and now C6. My car is an 07 reg 2.7 lignage in black , have owned her for a year now during which time she has completed 2 return trips to Carcassonne in SW France , an eachway journey of 950 miles , at an average of 37 mpg - very impressive I think for such a luxurious car!

I think the C6 is a very worthy real Citroen and a future classic.

Welcome

Out of interest, how many miles has the car actually done now?

Hello - you have another new member. I will be picking up my 2009 2.2HDI manual Lignage at the end of the month. I had two XMs that I loved in the 90's before buying my neighbours E Class Mercedes in 2002. The Mercedes has been a great car but with 127,000 on the clock, broken air conditioning and rust on the front wheel arches, and heavy fuel consumption, I finally had to let it go. I looked at all the obvious replacements, Mercedes, BMW, Audi, SAAB, Volvo, and the new C5, but at the end of the day nothing compared to the C6 for individuality, and clear luxury class status. Looking forward to sharing my experiences with you. I intend to keep the car for many years.

Hello - I am a new member from Norway and the country has got another C6! I bought a 2006/10 Exclusive 2,7 Hdi Auto Mauritius blue/cognac hide from a dealer in Germany with 59 000 kms on the counter. Looks like new in every way. I had a marvellous 1100 kms "flight" from the pick-up in Frankfurt to the south of Norway.

This is in fact my 10th Citroën. I have had several models of GS, GSA, BX, CX and the XM. Then turned to BMW when the XM production ended. Great cars, but the ride was uncomfortable..

The ride of the C6 reminds me of the CX, more than the XM. Looking forward to the ownership of this great car.

Hello, Kiwiman here. I am a new member as well. Just collected my 2007 C6 executive on Friday from the dealer. 30,000km on the clock. Still learning my way around - but very inmpressed so far. My trusty 1992 XM is now parked on the road and looking for a good home. The C6 is my 6th citroen having satred in the 80's with GS club. Nice to find a site with som many C6 owners and I look forward to sharing ideas with you all.
