I have had my 2007 C6 2.7 HDi Exclusive for some months and really enjoys it. After following some of the discussions on the forum I have compiled a list of three things to remember (in addition to standard servicing at a Citroën garage) when being a C6 owner:

1) Regularly check the coolant level.

2) Regularly check the hydraulics level by lowering the car. The hydraulic fluid shall then be visible at the bottom of the hydraulic tank.

3) Remember to raise the car to highest position and unscrew the lit of the hydraulic tank before jacking the car up when changing wheels (which we do twice a year in Norway).

Is the list correct? Am I missing anything?

Is it normal to need to add some hydraulic fluid in between services at the garage? Should I buy some to keep just in case?

Are there any special requirements for the coolant if I need to add some?

My garage say that some hydraulic fluid "disappears" , probably through the steering. Not a problem. Maybe replace a small amount after 1-2 years, (0,1-05l.)
