Hi recently got a 2009 2.7hdi and was going to change cam belt and water pump.
And was wondering if I should replace oil pump at same time as heard can be a weak point as mine is 2009 wasn't sure if reinforced version of pump.
And if do change are the fai pumps ok had anyone fitted these to there cars many thanks

My thought's are, unless the oil has been changed more regularly (every 10k) than the standard 20k miles, change it with the second timing belt swap.

As most C6's were manufactured in 07 I'd be amazed if it has the latest design pump fitted.

You'll need to check the RPO/ORGA No. for actual date of manufacture.

Most UK cars were manufactured in 2007 and hung around in the system before being registered at a later date.

Factory (PSA) info gave a production date late in 2010 for the new pump (My 3.0 Hdi is from March 2010). This is consistent with the warning about using the new thinner (0-30) oil in cars produced before the same date. I will try to change the pump at the 2nd belt change at around 260 000 km.
