Hi. When I try to adjust my C6 LHD drivers seat height, the motor only clicks. A motor or mechanism is stuck. The elctric control of a motor works, but the motor won´t run. Does anyone have experience? What is a motor spare part number, where to buy such? Where to find instructions how to remove and reinstall a motor?

Have you tried moving the seat without a person sitting on the seat? And it’s worth trying to ‘help’ the seat with some gentle force whilst pressing the button to move the seat. |

Bumping this old thread, I have the same problem, "helping" the seat does not work

You need to remove the seat and strip the motor out to confirm if it's a motor or mechanism fault. I suspect the easiest fix will be to replace the seat with one from a breaker. |

Hi, at the time I had 2 C6's, the one I sold, had this problem. Found out that when the long rod with threads was at one end point, it got stuck. So I fixed it with a nylon washer so it could not go that far, worked ever since. By the way this C6 was one of the 11 C6's sold new in Norway.
