Hi. Is it possible to use the old type, green LHM accumulator spheres, as suspension spheres on a 2,7? As far I can understand the volume is about the same, the threads are equal, and there is no damping in the LHM accumulator spheres? The availability of LHM spheres are better and it is easier to recharge them, so it would be great if its possible. | ||

Of course it works - basically no problem. The accumulator balls have a slightly larger volume and usually 62 bar. I have been riding these balls in the front for a long time - the suspension is somewhat softer in connection with the higher buoyancy pressure. The ball from the hardness regulator is still original. In the back, 62 bar would probably be too high - I think up to 50 bar is acceptable. Wolfgang |
