Hi all, with a heavy heart i’m listing my C6 for sale (here only, to ensure a good home). It’s a 2006 2.7 Exclusive with every option (lounge pack, JBL audio, etc). It’s on 158k and the bodywork isn’t perfect but its drives fantastically. I’ll get some photos done in next few days but to summarise:

Good Points - a beautifully spec’d C6, which is faultless in terms of the main areas - engine / gearbox / suspension. No mechanical issues, smoke, hesitation, gearbox a super smooth and suspension levels quickly and perfectly on startup. The car has a huge history, the majority of which from BL Autos. I’ve done a ful inventory of all work done and its had over £11k spent in the last 7 years. It’s had Cambelt. Oil service isn’t due for another 7k or so. Tyres and brakes all fairly good. MOT is due October, I’m not expecting major issues and would be willing to consider getting it tested as part of the sale if concerned.

Bad Points - Its showing it’s 158k in a couple of areas on the interior and bodywork. Inside there is some wear to the steering wheel and other contact points. The passenger side window switch isn’t functioning (but can be controlled by the drivers side. Drivers side heated seat isn’t functioning. It’s has slight leak into the boot (could be an easy fix, I haven’t really investigated properly). Externally there are some spots of corrosion on the bonnet (it aluminium so only superficial). It’s sustained some damage to the OSR, the front side of the rear arch between wheel and door looks slightly misaligned (Photos to follow). It’s got a slight coolant leak, from the well known weak-point at the thermostat housing. The wheels, particularly NSF, would benefit from a refurb but it cosmetic only, no air leaking.

I bought this car at the end of last year (from a forum member) and whilst not needing a second car, I’ve always wanted to own a C6 and this one was cheap enough for a speculative purchase. Me and the whole family have loved our time with ‘Big Dick’ as it’s known! We’ve done some big trips and its a pleasure and faultless. However, living in Bristol, the Clean Air Zone exemption ended for us on 1st of April. Plus the dreaded road tax is proving a bit of a bind for a second car i dont actually need. I believe the car is the basis of an excellent C6 which will continue to perform brilliantly for many years to come. Ideally it would have a new owner who’s happy to put some money into the cosmetics and make the most of such a lovely, well spec’d and solid car.

I’ll post some pictures in the next few days. I will also try and post the service record summary I’ve produced to show details of all the work that’s been done (mainly by BL Autos).

I’m in Bristol and asking £1,850, making it by far the cheapest C6 in the UK. I’ve been as honest as i possibly can about the condition. I really wouldn’t want to see it broken up for parts so hoping there will be someone who sees the potential to build on this solid foundation as it stands today.

Registration is NM06NZE

Cambelt and tensioners last done is April 2016. Recommended interval every 160,000 miles / 10 years. So it's fine for another few years

I’ve listed the car on Autotrader, i doing so it’s revealed it is a Category N write-off! All news to me and disappointing the previous seller chose not to share this information. I’ve reduced the price to £1,650. Photos below, all enquiries welcome, thanks

I can’t see to add the photos here for some reason. Take a look on Autotrader for further details, thanks
