Hi everyone I am in a bit of a headscratcher situation. I recently checked my 2.7 HDI's eolys reservoir and it was completely empty. Bonedry. Strangely I never got a display message stating that it is low on fluid. I tried to access the ECU controlling the dosing of the Eolys but Lexia/diagbox cant access the dosing system's ECU. no fault codes show up anywhere. I want to refill the system but first want to figure out how to reset the counter. Can someone please help me figure out what is wrong? Thanks Corne |

Hello Corne, You have to access the ECU to reset the counter. Does the Global Test on Diagbox recognise the presence of the ECU? Best regards, Phil C. |

Hi Phil. That is the problem. It doesn’t recognise the ECU |

This is very rarely a software problem and even more rarely a contact problem of the OBD socket. It is most likely a bad China VCI. The Citroen C5 and C6 are particularly affected. It would therefore be convenient if a forum member with a DIAGBOX in your area could be of assistance for testing. Or you can go on holiday and drop by my place in Würzburg (Germany). |
